Foodspring protein powder

Foodspring is a German company founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs Philipp Schrempp and Tobias Schüle, specializing in sports nutrition products such as protein powders, protein bars, and fitness foods. In 2019, Mars, Incorporated acquired a significant majority stake in Foodspring, integrating it into its Mars Edge segment dedicated to human health and wellness through targeted nutrition. Despite the acquisition, Foodspring continued to operate as a standalone business within Mars Edge, maintaining its headquarters in Berlin, Germany. However, in March 2025, Foodspring announced the decision to end all customer-facing operations by June 30, 2025, due to challenging market conditions. As a result, the brand ceased its operations, and its products are no longer available in the market.
