Santa Carolina is a renowned Chilean winery established in 1875 by Luis Pereira Cotapos. The winery is named after his wife, Carolina Iñiguez. Viña Santa Carolina owns 1,000 hectares of vineyards across various regions in Chile, including Maipo, Leyda, Rapel, Maule, and Itata valleys. In 2019, the winery, along with 1,000 associated external suppliers, produced approximately 25 million bottles of wine annually, distributed in 80 countries. In 2019, Viña Santa Carolina was acquired by Watt's S.A., a Chilean holding company that owns various food and beverage brands. The winery continues to produce a diverse range of wines, including Malbec, under the Santa Carolina brand.
