Pick Salami

Pick Salami is a flagship brand of Hungarian gastronomy, specifically known for its world-famous Winter Salami (Téliszalámi). Founded in 1869 by Márk Pick in Szeged, Hungary, the company has maintained a unique recipe that involves a mixture of pork and secret spices, followed by a cold-smoking process and air-drying where a characteristic white noble mold develops on the casing.

Today, Pick is the largest meat processor in Hungary. The brand is owned by the Bonafarm Group, a major Hungarian agricultural and food holding company owned by Sándor Csányi. The production remains centralized in the city of Szeged, ensuring that the traditional methods and protected geographical status of the product are preserved for global distribution.
