FILA is one of the world's most recognizable sports lifestyle brands, originally founded in 1911 in Biella, Piedmont, Italy. It began as a textile manufacturer for local townspeople before evolving into a global high-end sportswear brand, gaining significant fame in the 1970s through associations with tennis champions like Björn Borg.

Historically an Italian brand, the global ownership underwent a major shift in 2007 when FILA Korea acquired the brand's global rights, making it the largest South Korean sportswear company. Today, while the brand retains its Italian heritage in its design DNA, it is headquartered in Seoul. Manufacturing is diversified across multiple countries, including China, Vietnam, and Turkey, to serve its extensive international distribution network.
