In 1998, Northern Foods acquired the brand, and in 2001, production was relocated to Leicester. In 2020, the Leicester factory was sold, and production was moved to York. Poppets offers a range of chocolate-coated sweets, including Chewy Toffee, Juicy Raisins, and Mint Creams, available in various pack sizes. The brand is currently owned by Valeo Confectionery Ltd., a UK-based company specializing in confectionery products. Poppets are primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom, with production also taking place in other locations.
