Poppets is a classic British confectionery brand, originally produced by George Payne & Co. in the East End of London. In the 1930s, production moved to Croydon Road, Beddington, Surrey. In 1998, Northern Foods acquired the brand, and in 2001, production was relocated to Leicester. In 2020, the Leicester factory was sold, and production was moved to York. Poppets offers a range of chocolate-coated sweets, including Chewy Toffee, Juicy Raisins, and Mint Creams, available in various pack sizes. The brand is currently owned by Valeo Confectionery Ltd., a UK-based company specializing in confectionery products. Poppets are primarily manufactured in the United Kingdom, with production also taking place in other locations.
