Finish is a leading global brand specializing in automatic dishwashing products. It was originally launched in 1953 by the American company Economics Laboratory, which is known today as Ecolab. The brand was created to address the specific cleaning challenges posed by the rise of household dishwashing machines and molded plastic dinnerware in the mid-20th century.

In 1987, the consumer products division of Ecolab, including the Finish brand, was acquired by J.A. Benckiser. Following the merger of J.A. Benckiser and Reckitt & Colman in 1999, the brand became part of the Reckitt Benckiser portfolio, now simply known as Reckitt. Today, Finish is a flagship brand in Reckitt's hygiene category, competing globally as a premium dishwashing solution.
