Geox is a globally recognized Italian brand, famously known as 'the shoe that breathes.' Founded in 1995 by Mario Moretti Polegato, the brand revolutionized the footwear industry by patenting a waterproof, breathable membrane used in soles. This innovation allows sweat to escape without letting water in, addressing common hygiene and comfort issues in traditional footwear.

While the brand originated in Italy and maintains its corporate and creative headquarters there, its manufacturing is distributed internationally. Production takes place in various countries across Europe and Asia, including sites in Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Serbia, to balance cost and craftsmanship. Geox remains one of the few large-scale footwear brands where the original founder still serves as the Chairman, ensuring the brand stays true to its core values of technical innovation and Italian design.
