Maisons du Monde

Maisons du Monde is a French company specializing in furniture and home decor, founded in 1996 by Xavier Marie. The company operates over 350 stores across Europe, including France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Austria, and the Netherlands. In 2013, American investment firm Bain Capital acquired an 80% stake in Maisons du Monde for €680 million. As of October 31, 2023, the largest shareholders are Teleios Capital Partners (28.81%) and Majorelle Investments (26.49%). In May 2023, Anouck Duranteau-Loeper, CEO of Isabel Marant, was appointed to the Board of Directors as a representative of Majorelle Investments.
