Tyrrells mature cheddar & chive crisps

Tyrrells is a premium British snack brand founded in 2002 by William Chase on Tyrrells Court Farm in Herefordshire, England. The brand is well-known for its hand-cooked potato crisps and its distinctive packaging featuring eccentric vintage photography.

Originally a farm-based business, Tyrrells has undergone several ownership changes over the decades. Founder William Chase sold a majority stake to Langholm Capital in 2008. The brand was later acquired by the Bahrain-based Investcorp in 2013, followed by the American company Amplify Snack Brands in 2016. In early 2018, The Hershey Company acquired Amplify, but shortly thereafter sold the Tyrrells brand to its current owner, KP Snacks, which is a subsidiary of the German Intersnack Group.

While the heart of production remains in Herefordshire, United Kingdom, the brand has expanded its manufacturing footprint globally to serve international markets, including facilities in Australia (via Yarra Valley Snack Foods) and Germany (via Aroma Snacks).
