Ted Baker is a British fashion brand founded in 1988 in Glasgow, Scotland, by Ray Kelvin. Initially specializing in men's shirts, the brand expanded its product range to include women's apparel, accessories, fragrances, and homeware. Known for its distinctive designs and high-quality materials, Ted Baker grew rapidly, establishing over 500 stores worldwide at its peak. In October 2022, Authentic Brands Group (ABG), a U.S.-based brand management company, acquired Ted Baker for £211 million. Following the acquisition, Ted Baker faced significant financial challenges, leading to the appointment of administrators in March 2024. Despite these difficulties, ABG relaunched the brand online in November 2024, aiming to revitalize its presence in the fashion industry.
