Magnum is a premium ice cream brand introduced in 1989 by Frisko, a Danish ice cream manufacturer based in Aarhus, Denmark. The brand was developed to offer a sophisticated ice cream experience, featuring a thick coating of real chocolate over creamy vanilla ice cream. In 1992, Magnum expanded its product line to include flavors like Magnum White and Magnum Almond. In 2000, Magnum became part of Unilever, a British-Dutch multinational company specializing in consumer goods. Under Unilever's ownership, Magnum has continued to innovate, introducing new flavors and product formats, including vegan options. The brand is now available in over 80 countries worldwide, delivering indulgent ice cream experiences to consumers globally. As of 2024, Unilever announced plans to divest its ice cream brands, including Magnum, with the divestment expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
