Winora bicycle

Winora is a German bicycle manufacturer with a rich history dating back to 1914, when cyclist Engelbert Wiener founded E. Wiener GmbH in Schweinfurt. The company initially focused on the manufacturing and distribution of bicycles through individual assembly. In 1963, Winora established its first bicycle factory in Schweinfurt, featuring an assembly line system to meet the growing demand. Over the years, Winora has expanded its product range to include a variety of bicycles, from children's models to high-end e-bikes, catering to diverse customer needs. In 2001, Winora-Staiger GmbH merged with E. Wiener BikeParts GmbH & Co. KG, forming the Winora Group. The company was acquired by the Dutch Accell Group in 2002, which is headquartered in Heerenveen, Netherlands. As part of the Accell Group, Winora continues to produce bicycles primarily in Germany, with some models also produced in other locations.
