The brand was established in 1991 by Cofemel - Sociedade de Vestuário, S.A., a company founded in 1979. In 2008, Grupo VNC, a Portuguese conglomerate led by António Vila Nova, acquired Cofemel, thereby becoming the ultimate owner of the Tiffosi brand. Tiffosi's main products include jeans, T-shirts, and sweatshirts, and the brand is considered the most popular jeans brand in Portugal. The company operates over 90 stores in Portugal, Spain, and Luxembourg, and is present in 26 countries through a network of 2,500 multibrand points of sale. Tiffosi is known for its innovative products, such as the One Size® Fits All jeans, which were voted Product of the Year 2016 by Portuguese consumers. The brand is also in the process of creating and perfecting its sustainability policies to reduce its environmental and social impact in the medium to long term.
