Van Raam special needs bicycle

Van Raam, founded in 1900 in the Netherlands, specializes in manufacturing special needs bicycles, including tricycles, tandems, wheelchair bikes, and transport bikes. The company has expanded its operations to Poland, where it operates a factory in Wykroty, acquired in December 2020, to meet the growing demand for its products. In July 2023, Armira & Co. KG, a German private equity firm, acquired Van Raam, providing the company with resources to further its growth and innovation in the special needs bicycle market. To enhance its presence in North America, Van Raam established Van Raam North America Inc. in New York in October 2024, aiming to distribute its products more effectively across the continent.
