Pandora is a Danish jewelry brand founded in 1982 by goldsmith Per Enevoldsen and his wife, Winnie. Initially operating as a family-run jewelry shop in Copenhagen, the company expanded its operations by establishing a manufacturing facility in Thailand in 1989. This move allowed Pandora to produce high-quality, hand-finished jewelry at accessible price points. Over the years, Pandora has grown to become the world's largest jewelry brand, offering a wide range of products, including customizable charm bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, and charms. The brand is sold in more than 100 countries through over 6,700 points of sale, including approximately 2,600 concept stores. Pandora is committed to sustainability and has pledged to use only recycled silver and gold in its jewelry by 2025, aiming to halve greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2030. The company is listed on the Nasdaq Copenhagen stock exchange and generated sales of DKK 23.4 billion (EUR 3.1 billion) in 2021. Despite its global presence, Pandora remains headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, and continues to operate as a publicly traded company under the name Pandora A/S.
