Sinalco is a historic non-alcoholic beverage brand with roots going back to 1902 in Germany. It was created by Bilz-Brause in Detmold and later named Sinalco, which is derived from the Latin 'sine alcohole' (without alcohol). The brand is iconic for its red circle logo and its status as one of the oldest soft drink brands in Europe.
Today, the brand is owned by the Hövelmann family through the Deutsche Sinalco GmbH Markengetränke & Co. KG. While the brand originated and is headquartered in Duisburg, Germany, it is produced internationally via a franchise system. The product shown in the image is a 0.33L glass bottle, typical of the German reusable deposit system (Mehrweg), and was manufactured under license from the Duisburg-based parent company.
