Sinalco is a German brand of non-alcoholic beverages, first introduced in 1902. It is recognized as the oldest soft drink brand in Europe. The brand was established by German scientist Friedrich Eduard Bilz and industrialist Franz Hartmann. The name 'Sinalco' is derived from the Latin phrase 'sine alcohole,' meaning 'without alcohol.' Over the years, Sinalco has expanded its product line to include various flavors such as Orange, Lemon, and Cola. The brand is produced by Sinalco International GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Detmold, Germany. In 1994, the rights to the Sinalco brand were acquired by the Hövelmann-Gruppe, a German beverage company based in Duisburg, Germany. The Hövelmann-Gruppe specializes in the production and distribution of non-alcoholic drinks, including the Sinalco brand. Sinalco products are manufactured in multiple countries, including Germany and Switzerland, and are distributed in over 40 countries worldwide.
