Vinted is a leading European online marketplace specialized in the peer-to-peer resale of second-hand fashion, home goods, and electronics. Founded in 2008 in Vilnius, Lithuania, by Milda Mitkutė and Justas Janauskas, the platform was initially created to help Mitkutė sell her excess clothing during a house move. What began as a local hobby project transformed into a global phenomenon, becoming Lithuania's first 'unicorn' startup in 2019.

The ultimate ownership is shared between its founders and a variety of high-profile venture capital firms, including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Accel, EQT Growth, and Insight Partners. The company remains headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, and continues to champion the circular economy by making second-hand items a primary choice for consumers globally.
