KiMs is an iconic Danish snack brand that has become a household name since its inception in the 1960s. The brand was originally established by Odense Marcipanfabrik and is famously named after the founder's son, Kim. While the nuts themselves are often sourced internationally (specifically from the USA as indicated by the 'Amerikanske' label), the roasting and packaging process for the Danish market takes place primarily at KiMs' production facilities in Søndersø, Denmark.

Today, KiMs is under the ownership of the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla, following a series of acquisitions involving the Danish Snacks Company. Orkla is one of the leading suppliers of branded consumer goods in the Nordics. The brand continues to maintain a strong local identity in Denmark while operating as part of Orkla's international portfolio of food and snack brands.
