Trocadero is a legendary Swedish soft drink characterized by its apple and orange flavor profile, often interpreted as having a hint of caffeine. Launched in 1953 by Saturo in Skellefteå, it gained immense popularity in Northern Sweden before becoming a national icon. The brand has a unique production history; for decades, it was produced under license by various independent local breweries across Sweden, ensuring its widespread availability and cult status.
In 2017, the brand was acquired by Spendrups Bryggeri, one of Sweden's largest family-owned beverage companies. Today, Spendrups manages the brand's production and distribution, including modern variants like the Zero Sugar version shown in the image. Although Spendrups holds the primary brand rights, the drink's heritage remains deeply rooted in the Swedish brewery tradition, and its manufacturing continues to take place at Spendrups' facilities within Sweden.
