Albalact is a Romanian dairy company established in 1971, renowned for producing a wide range of dairy products, including milk, yogurt, sour cream, butter, and cheese. The company operates two main factories: the Albalact factory in Oiejdea, Alba County, and the Rarăul factory in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Suceava County. In 2008, Albalact acquired the Rarăul factory to expand its cheese production. In 2016, Albalact was acquired by Groupe Lactalis, a French multinational dairy corporation, which is now the ultimate owner of the brand. The company is headquartered in Alba County, Romania, and its products are primarily manufactured in Romania.
