Bobby Schokoriegel is a popular Austrian chocolate bar known for its distinctive packaging featuring a character named Graf Bobby, a humorous figure from early 20th-century Vienna. The bar was first introduced in 1967 by Bensdorp-Wien, a company that was later acquired by Unilever in 1973. In 1987, the production facility was relocated to Salzburg/Grödig, and in 1994, it was sold to the Pöll family, marking the beginning of Salzburg Schokolade, an Austrian private company. In 2014, the brand was acquired by Dr. Philipp Harmer Beteiligungs-GmbH, an Austrian investment firm led by Christian Schügerl. Today, Bobby Schokoriegel is produced primarily in Austria, with some production in other locations, and is owned by Dr. Philipp Harmer Beteiligungs-GmbH, headquartered in Austria.
