Tripel Karmeliet Beer

Tripel Karmeliet is a world-renowned Belgian specialty beer known for its unique three-grain recipe consisting of barley, wheat, and oats. Although the brand highlights its roots in a 1679 recipe from the Carmelite monastery in Dendermonde, the modern version of the beer was launched in 1996 by the Bosteels Brewery (Brouwerij Bosteels).

The beer continues to be produced in its historic home of Buggenhout, Belgium. Since its launch, it has achieved significant international acclaim, winning multiple industry awards such as the World Beer Cup and World Beer Awards. This success made it a highly sought-after brand in the global craft beer market.

In September 2016, the Bosteels Brewery was acquired by Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world's largest brewing company. Today, Tripel Karmeliet operates within AB InBev's craft and specialty portfolio, maintaining its high standards of quality while benefiting from the extensive distribution network of its ultimate owner.
