Nobel is a Spanish cigarette brand that was launched in 1981 by Tabacalera, S.A., the Spanish tobacco monopoly. Over the years, Nobel has been produced in various locations, with its primary manufacturing in Spain. In 1999, Tabacalera merged with France's tobacco monopoly, SEITA, to form Altadis, which acquired Nobel. In 2008, Imperial Brands plc, a British multinational tobacco company, acquired Altadis, thereby becoming the ultimate owner of the Nobel brand. Altadis S.A., a subsidiary of Imperial Brands, continues to manage the brand in Spain. Nobel cigarettes are known for their mild, light, and refined flavor profile, appealing to smokers who prefer a less intense taste. The brand has maintained a unique position in the Spanish market, offering a premium product with a focus on quality and consumer satisfaction.
