Tale Beer is a Ghanaian craft beer brand produced by Specialty Beers Ghana Limited, an independent start-up established under the One District One Factory (1D1F) initiative. The company specializes in brewing African craft beers using locally sourced raw materials, including over 70% un-husked grains. Their product range includes Farmhouse Ale, Hibiscus IPA, Ginger Triple, and Cocoa Stout, each named to reflect the national colors of Ghana. The company invested in developing these beer recipes with the assistance of a Belgian university, utilizing adjuncts such as broken rice to replace imported malted barley, which cannot be sourced in Ghana. The production facility was commissioned by President Akufo-Addo as part of the 1D1F initiative, aiming to boost local manufacturing and create jobs within the country. The beers are brewed in Nsawam, Ghana, and are available for purchase through their official website and various local outlets.
