Gaza Cola is a cola-flavored soft drink launched in November 2023 by Osama Qashoo, a Palestinian activist and co-founder of the International Solidarity Movement. The beverage was developed to provide an alternative to major cola brands and to support humanitarian efforts in Palestine. The red cans feature the Palestinian flag, Arabic calligraphy spelling 'Gaza Cola,' and a pattern inspired by the keffiyeh, a symbol of resistance. All profits from Gaza Cola are directed towards rebuilding the al-Karama Hospital in northern Gaza, which was destroyed during the ongoing conflict. The product is manufactured in Poland and imported to the UK to reduce costs. Since its launch, Gaza Cola has gained international interest, with shipments to countries including Spain, Australia, South Africa, and Kuwait. By June 2025, over 500,000 cans had been sold, with expectations to sell a million cans by the end of 2024. The initiative aims to offer a 'guilt-free, genocide-free' beverage choice, aligning with the values of justice and freedom, and providing consumers with an opportunity to support Palestinian causes through their purchase.
