Schöller is a German ice cream brand founded by Theo Schöller, who began producing ice cream in the 1950s. The company expanded significantly over the decades, becoming a major player in the European ice cream market. In 2002, Nestlé acquired Schöller, strengthening its presence in the German market and other parts of Northern and Central Europe. In 2016, Nestlé merged its ice cream business, including Schöller, with R&R Ice Cream to form Froneri Ltd., a global ice cream manufacturer headquartered in the United Kingdom. Froneri Ice Cream Deutschland GmbH operates as a subsidiary in Germany, continuing the production and distribution of Schöller ice cream products.
