O'boy is an iconic chocolate drink brand that has been a staple in Nordic households since its launch in 1960. Originally created by the Swedish company Marabou, it quickly became synonymous with chocolate milk in the region. The product is famous for its unique ability to dissolve in both hot and cold milk, creating a distinctive chocolatey flavor that remains popular today.
Over the decades, ownership of the brand transitioned through various corporate acquisitions. When Marabou merged with Freia and was later acquired by what is now Mondelēz International, O'boy became part of a global portfolio of snack and confectionery brands. Despite these changes in corporate ownership, O'boy retains its strong Swedish identity and continues to be primarily manufactured in Sweden, specifically at the factory in Upplands Väsby.
