VARTA CR2032 Battery

VARTA is a German company founded in 1887, specializing in the manufacturing of batteries for automotive, industrial, and consumer markets. The CR2032 is a 3V lithium coin cell battery commonly used in devices like calculators, watches, and key fobs. VARTA's consumer battery segment was acquired by Energizer Holdings, Inc. in January 2019. However, due to antitrust regulations in Europe, Energizer divested the European consumer battery business, allowing VARTA to regain control over its brand in that region. Despite this, Energizer continues to own the VARTA brand in other markets, including Latin America and Asia Pacific.
