Founded in 2002 in Denmark by Jacob Jensen and Thomas Frederiksen, one.com (originally b-one.net) has evolved from a small Nordic startup into a major international player in the digital services market. For over two decades, the brand has specialized in providing an all-in-one web hosting package, including domain registration, email services, and a proprietary AI-powered website builder.

Today, the brand operates as part of the group.ONE conglomerate. While its roots are Danish, its operational headquarters are now located in Sweden, with additional major corporate offices in Denmark, India, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines. The company’s digital infrastructure is powered by 100% renewable energy from wind turbines, reflecting a modern commitment to sustainability.

As of the mid-2020s, one.com is ultimately owned by the international private equity firm Cinven, in partnership with the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. This ownership structure follows a series of strategic consolidations that combined one.com with other industry leaders like the dogado group, solidifying its position as a dominant provider of pan-European digital solutions.
