Marabou Fransk Nougat is a popular confectionery item in Scandinavia, featuring a soft egg-white-based nougat filling with hazelnuts, covered in dark chocolate. Despite its name 'Fransk' (French), it is a classic Swedish brand founded by Johan Throne-Holst in 1916.

While the brand was originally established in Sundbyberg, Sweden, production has shifted over the years. Marabou is currently manufactured in various European locations, notably in Lithuania and Sweden (specifically Upplands Väsby). Today, the brand is owned by the American multinational food conglomerate Mondelez International, which acquired the parent company Freia-Marabou in 1993. Mondelez continues to manage the brand as a cornerstone of the Nordic chocolate market.
