Bregott is a premier Swedish dairy brand launched in 1969 by what was then known as Svenska Meijeriernas Riksförening (now part of Arla Foods). It is a blend of butter and rapeseed oil, designed to be spreadable directly from the refrigerator while maintaining a rich buttery taste. The product is manufactured at the Götene dairy plant in Sweden, using Swedish cream.

The brand is owned by Arla Foods, a major European dairy cooperative owned by thousands of dairy farmers across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. Despite its multinational ownership, Bregott remains a quintessentially Swedish product and a staple in Swedish households.
