The production primarily takes place in Fjälkinge, Scania (Skåne), Sweden, where the company maintains its manufacturing facilities for processing and packaging.

Today, Kockens is owned by the Dutch group Paulig. Paulig is a family-owned international food and beverage company known for its sustainable practices and diverse portfolio including coffee, snacks, and seasoning. Although Paulig is globally active, Kockens maintains its distinct Swedish heritage and local production focus within the Nordic market.
