Smirnoff is a renowned vodka brand with origins tracing back to 1864 in Moscow, Russia, when Pyotr Arsenievich Smirnov established his distillery. The brand gained prominence for its purity and quality, becoming a favorite among the Russian Imperial Court. Following the Russian Revolution, the Smirnov family relocated, and in the 1930s, the brand was revitalized in the United States by the American liquor distributor Heublein. Today, Smirnoff is owned by Diageo, a British multinational alcoholic beverages company headquartered in London. The brand offers a diverse range of products, including classic vodkas, flavored vodkas, and malt beverages, and is manufactured in various countries worldwide, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Jamaica, Kenya, India, Indonesia, the United States, and El Salvador. Despite its Russian origins, Smirnoff is not currently produced in Russia or Eastern Europe.
