Kung Fu Girl is a highly popular Riesling line produced in Washington State. It was created by the winemaker Charles Smith under the Charles Smith Wines brand. The product is known for its distinctive label featuring an Asian-inspired pop art aesthetic, reflecting Smith's background in the rock music industry before turning to winemaking.
Originally part of the 'Modernist Collection,' the brand saw massive commercial success. In 2016, Charles Smith sold a significant portion of his wine brands, including Kung Fu Girl, to the multinational beverage conglomerate Constellation Brands. Today, while the wine remains focused on grapes sourced from the Columbia Valley in Washington, it is managed under the corporate umbrella of Constellation Brands, one of the largest wine and spirits producers in the world.
