Laica is an Italian company founded in 1974 by Leonida and Teresa Moretto in Vicenza, Italy. Initially, they began by designing and producing kitchen scales, eventually expanding into water filtration systems and small household appliances for personal health and well-being. Over the years, Laica has grown internationally, offering products such as filter jugs, blood pressure monitors, nebulizers, and kitchen scales. In 2020, Laica joined the Strix Group, a UK-based company renowned for its expertise in water heating and kettle safety systems. This acquisition has enabled Laica to enhance its product offerings and technological capabilities, particularly in water filtration and heating solutions. Despite the acquisition, Laica continues to operate under its original brand name, maintaining its commitment to high-quality, Italian-designed products that promote consumer wellness.
