Theodor Schiøtz Brewing Company, based in Denmark, originally created the Anarkist brand. In 2025, the brand was acquired by Kalnapilis Brewery, a Lithuanian brewing company, which now owns the Anarkist brand. The beer is primarily produced in Denmark but is also brewed in other locations under the supervision of Kalnapilis Brewery.
