Wyborowa is one of Poland's most iconic vodka brands, with a heritage dating back to 1927 when it was established in Poznań. Recognized globally for its quality, it was once the first vodka in the world to be registered as an international trademark. The product is crafted using traditional Polish techniques, specifically utilizing 100% rye grain, which gives it its distinctively creamy and slightly sweet flavor profile. To this day, the manufacturing process remains rooted in Poland to maintain its geographical indication status.

While the brand's roots are firmly Polish, its ownership has transitioned over the decades through the privatization of the Polish spirits industry. Historically produced by the state monopoly Polmos, Wyborowa was acquired by the French spirits giant Pernod Ricard in the early 2000s. Today, it operates as a key part of Pernod Ricard’s international portfolio, managed locally by Wyborowa S.A. in Poland. This partnership allows the brand to maintain its traditional production methods while benefiting from a massive global distribution network, ensuring its presence in over 70 countries around the world.
