Svansø Valnøddekerner (Walnut Kernels) is a premium nut product from the Danish brand Svansø. Founded in 1975 by Hanne and Peder Svansø, the brand initially specialized in importing Mediterranean delicacies like olive oil and pasta to Denmark. Over the decades, Svansø expanded its portfolio significantly to include a wide range of nuts, seeds, dressings, and specialty foods.

While Svansø maintains its own production facilities in Denmark (notably in Nørre Åby and Hadsten) for items like sauces and dressings, raw agricultural products such as walnuts are typically sourced from global regions where they are cultivated, such as the USA, Chile, or Eastern Europe, and are subsequently packaged in Denmark.

Today, the Svansø brand is part of the Good Food Group A/S, a major Danish food manufacturer. In 2019, Good Food Group was acquired by the Danish private equity firm Maj Invest, which remains the ultimate owner and driver of the brand's international growth strategy.
