Parodol tandpasta is a Danish-made toothpaste developed by Danefred Parodol aSmile ApS. It is specifically formulated to prevent and alleviate gum issues and periodontal disease, making it ideal for individuals seeking optimal oral hygiene. The toothpaste is based on four plant oils: menthol and thymol, which combat harmful bacteria throughout the oral cavity and restore the natural bacterial balance, thereby addressing bad breath; eucalyptus and methyl salicylate (from wintergreen oil), which have anti-inflammatory properties and provide relief for sensitive teeth, as well as inhibiting blisters and fungal spores. Notably, Parodol tandpasta is intentionally produced without sodium lauryl sulfate, a substance that can destroy the protective barrier against bacteria and viruses formed by saliva, ensuring it does not foam. Additionally, it contains fluoride to combat tooth decay. Parodol tandpasta was developed by dentists and bioanalysts specializing in periodontal disease treatment and received a top placement in the Danish Ministry of the Environment’s (now Forbrugerkemi’s) toothpaste reviews of 56 different tested toothpaste brands in 2008. The product is manufactured in Denmark, reflecting the company's commitment to quality and local production.
