Diablo IV is the fourth main installment in the Diablo series, developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard. Released on June 5, 2023, it is available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows. The game is set in the fictional Kingdom of Khanduras, where players control a hero battling to rid the world of Diablo, the Lord of Terror. It features an open world, player versus player combat, and procedurally generated dungeons. Diablo IV received generally positive reviews for its narrative and atmosphere, generating over $666 million in revenue within the first six days after launch and surpassing one billion dollars in total revenue by September 2024. Its first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, was released in October 2024.
