The NAD 3020 is a renowned stereo integrated amplifier introduced in 1978 by NAD Electronics, a British company founded in 1972. It gained acclaim for its exceptional sound quality and affordability, becoming one of the best-selling amplifiers in history. The 3020 was manufactured in multiple countries, including Taiwan, and was designed to deliver 20 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with a frequency response from 10Hz to 70kHz. In 1991, NAD was acquired by the Danish firm AudioNord and later sold in 1999 to the Lenbrook Group, a Canadian company specializing in high-fidelity audio equipment, headquartered in Pickering, Ontario. As of 2025, Lenbrook Group remains the ultimate owner of the NAD brand.
