Parodontax is a toothpaste brand developed in 1937 by German dentist Dr. Focke. Initially based on sodium bicarbonate, it was acquired by German pharmaceutical company Madaus, which enhanced it with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial components from medicinal plants. In 2022, Haleon, a UK-based consumer healthcare company, became the ultimate owner of Parodontax after the demerger of GSK's consumer healthcare division. Parodontax toothpaste is manufactured in multiple countries, including the United Kingdom and Slovakia, and is available in various formulations, such as Daily Fluoride and Herbal Fresh, to address different oral health needs.
