Weber-Stephen Products LLC is a globally recognized manufacturer of charcoal, gas, and electric outdoor grills. The brand traces its origins back to 1952 in Chicago, USA, when George Stephen invented the iconic kettle grill by cutting a metal buoy in half. This innovative design revolutionized backyard cooking and established Weber as a leader in the outdoor living industry.

While Weber historically manufactured its products exclusively in the United States, current production is a global operation. High-end models and certain components continue to be manufactured in Huntley, Illinois, while many popular lines, such as the Spirit series shown here, are primarily assembled in China and Taiwan to optimize global supply chains.

In early 2023, Weber was taken private by Byron Trott's investment firm, BDT & MSD Partners. This acquisition moved the company from the public stock market back into private ownership, ensuring focused long-term investment in the brand's heritage of quality and durability while maintaining its corporate headquarters in Palatine, Illinois.
