Green Cola soft drink

Green Cola was originally developed in 2011 by Green Cola Hellas in Orestiada, Greece, as a healthier, stevia-sweetened alternative to traditional colas during the Greek debt crisis. The brand launched its flagship product in 2012 and quickly expanded across Europe and the Middle East.

Today, the brand is owned and managed by Green Beverages Group (formerly Green Cola Bottling International), which is headquartered in Nicosia, Cyprus. While its primary production facilities remain in Greece (managed by Green Cola Hellas), the product is manufactured in multiple locations worldwide through a network of local partners and third-party bottling sites, including facilities in Germany, Spain, and Poland to serve regional markets. The brand remains under the ultimate ownership of its founding group, led by Periklis Venieris, rather than being part of the major global beverage conglomerates like Coca-Cola or PepsiCo.
