Pall Mall is one of the world's most historic cigarette brands, established in 1899 by the Black Butler Company in the United Kingdom. Named after the famous Pall Mall street in London, it was originally marketed as a premium, upper-class cigarette before being acquired by the American Tobacco Company in 1907. The brand is credited with introducing several industry innovations, including the creation of the 'king-size' 85mm length and 100mm 'longs', which significantly influenced cigarette standards globally.

Today, Pall Mall is a global 'drive brand' with a dual-ownership structure. In the United States, the brand is owned and manufactured by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company (a subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc.). Internationally, the brand is owned and distributed by British American Tobacco (BAT). Production takes place in various manufacturing hubs worldwide to serve over 60 markets. Following the full acquisition of Reynolds American by BAT in 2017, the ultimate entity governing the brand's global presence is British American Tobacco, headquartered in London.
