Nvidia is a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI) and graphics processing hardware. While founded and headquartered in the United States, the company operates using a fabless manufacturing model. This means that while Nvidia designs the hardware and software architectures, the physical production is outsourced to specialized semiconductor foundries.

Most of Nvidia's silicon wafers are manufactured in Taiwan by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), while final assembly and packaging of the graphics cards occur in various locations across East Asia, including China, Vietnam, and Malaysia. As a publicly traded American corporation, Nvidia maintains full control over its brand and intellectual property while utilizing a global supply chain to meet massive demand for its gaming and data center technologies.
