It is brewed by Eriksbergs Bryggerier, a Swedish brewery established in 1864. In 1978, Carlsberg Group, a Danish multinational brewing company founded in 1847, acquired Eriksbergs Bryggerier. Carlsberg Group is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, and operates in approximately 150 countries. The Swedish subsidiary, Carlsberg Sverige AB, manages the production and distribution of Eriksberg beers in Sweden.
