Bombay Sapphire Gin

Bombay Sapphire is a premium London Dry Gin that has become one of the most recognizable spirits in the world. It was first launched in 1987, though its recipe is based on a historic blend of ten botanicals dating back to 1761. The brand is famous for its iconic translucent blue bottle and its unique distillation process known as vapor infusion, which results in a lighter, more floral flavor profile compared to traditional gins.

The gin is exclusively produced at the Laverstoke Mill in Hampshire, England. This historic site, which formerly served as a paper mill for British banknotes, was renovated into a state-of-the-art sustainable distillery. The botanicals, including juniper berries from Italy, grains of paradise from West Africa, and lemon peel from Spain, are sourced globally but the final product is distilled and bottled in the United Kingdom.

Originally launched by International Distillers & Vintners, the brand was later sold to Bacardi in 1998. Today, Bombay Sapphire remains a flagship brand in the Bacardi Limited portfolio. As a privately held, family-owned spirits company headquartered in Bermuda, Bacardi manages the global distribution and marketing of the brand, maintaining its status as a leader in the premium gin category.
