White Stuff is a British fashion and lifestyle brand founded in 1985 by George Treves and Sean Thomas. Initially known for its printed T-shirts and sweatshirts popular in the Val d'Isère ski resort, the brand has expanded to offer a wide range of women's and men's clothing, accessories, homeware, and gifts. As of October 2024, White Stuff operates 113 stores and 46 concessions in the UK, with a presence in Europe through partnerships with major retailers. In June 2024, the brand launched in the US, partnering with independent retailers in seven states to test and learn from the market. In October 2024, The Foschini Group (TFG), a South African retail company, acquired White Stuff, marking a significant step in the brand's international expansion. TFG operates various fashion brands across multiple countries, including the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Greece, Canada, and New Zealand. Despite the acquisition, White Stuff continues to operate under its original brand name, offering distinctive clothing designed in-house with a focus on quality, sustainable fabrics, and unique details. The brand is committed to using more sustainable materials and donates at least 1% of its profits to charity each year. White Stuff's products are made in multiple countries, reflecting its global manufacturing and distribution strategy.
