For decades, it was the market leader in Denmark, famously known for its 'Jolly Time' marketing campaigns.

Today, the Jolly brand is primarily manufactured in Denmark. While its market dominance has shifted over the years, it remains a beloved local alternative to international soda giants. The brand is currently owned by the Finnish company Olvi, following their acquisition of the majority of Bryggeriet Vestfyen, which had previously secured the rights to the brand.

Ownership of Jolly has transitioned through various Danish brewery consortia until it was eventually consolidated under Bryggeriet Vestfyen. With Vestfyen now under the umbrella of Olvi PLC, the brand continues to hold a significant place in the Danish beverage landscape, particularly for its orange-flavored (Appelsin) and sugar-free (Sukkerfri) varieties.
